Sustainable building solutions are becoming increasingly important in today's world. As a leader of metal building manufacturers, Pioneer Steel has been at the forefront of this trend.

We strive to provide environmentally friendly and sustainable building solutions with all our pre-engineered metal building kits. We design our prefab buildings to reduce waste.

They use energy efficiently and lower the need for extra materials like ductwork for HVAC systems. We achieve this through our clear-span designs and the use of AZ180 (AZ60) Galvalume Plus™. A coated metal, known for its exceptional corrosion resistance and heat reflectivity.

Galvalume Plus™ metal is good for the environment. It contains a lot of recycled content, and you can recycle it easily after use. This results in reduced waste, pollution, and carbon footprint for both Pioneer Steel and our customers.

Steel the most recycled material in the world. And our buildings exceed industry standards. We start with a minimum of 25% recycled content and up to 95% depending on the manufacturing process used.

Every year, North America recycles or exports over 70 million tons of metal. We are proud to be part of this sustainable movement.

The Galvalume Plus™ coating protects our prefabricated metal buildings from uneven weathering. A 50-year manufacturer's warranty supports this. Its bright surface helps reflect heat and lowers energy use.

Pioneer Steel’s Galvalume Plus™ coating meets the EPA solar reflectance requirement. It has a rating of 0.65 for new metal buildings. For roofs older than three years, it maintains a minimum rating of 0.50.

The Energy Star program has fully approved Galvalume Plus™ coated metal. This approval is for both low-slope and high-slope uses.

The Galvalume Plus™ coating also works as a thermal barrier. It keeps metal pre-engineered buildings cool inside during summer. This means that Pioneer Steel buildings use less energy and leads to lowering your environmental impact through reduced energy costs over the life of the building.

Conversely, Pioneer Steel buildings not only reflect heat in summer, but also retains heat inside during cooler months. Saving on heating costs and keeping the indoor environment healthy and comfortable all year round.

Pioneer Steel designs its prefab metal buildings to easily fit new Energy Efficient Windows, HVAC systems, and insulation. They can also support solar systems to lower electricity use. This helps reduce the strain on the power grid.

Our metal manufacturer is less than 50 km from our facility. This means we have lower transport costs for raw materials. It also reduces traffic on the highways and cuts vehicle emissions compared to many competitors.

Our metal buildings are fully recyclable after use. This shows our strong commitment to the environment. We have always prioritized this.
