Constructing the foundation for your Pioneer Steel building depends on a number of factors, such as geographical location and intended application. The area should be level and clear of obstructions. Consult your dealer about the type of foundation you will need for your steel building. The images to the right show a few options.

Baseplate Post

If you require additional sidewall height, you may look into this foundation option. By burying posts in the ground up to 5' apart, you provide your foundation with enough strength and stability to carry your Pioneer Steel building. Wood or steel beams are then attached to the top of the posts, onto which is bolted a Pioneer baseplate. The building panels are affixed to the baseplate.
