Since most customers assemble their Pioneer Steel building themselves, the buildings have been engineered to be as easy to construct as possible, without the aid of expensive equipment or machinery. Basic equipment you will need includes the following:
- Hard hats and work gloves
- Tape measures, 50 or 100 ft. and 10 ft.
- Electric impact wrench with 1/2" hex or 9/16" square sockets (ask your dealer about possible rentals)
- 1/2" and 9/16" wrenches
- Electric drill, variable speed with 3/8" bits for sheet steel
- Extension ladders and/or rope ladders
- Scaffolding, stepladders and rope
Additional equipment you may need will depend on the size and model of the building you construct. Your building manual and your dealer can provide you with more information.
